The Goalball Association for the Blind of Karnataka (GABK) is dedicated to promoting and developing Goalball, a unique and inclusive sport for individuals with visual impairments. Our organization focuses on creating a supportive environment where athletes can train, compete, and thrive, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate in sports.

Our Mission

At GABK, our mission is to empower visually impaired athletes through organized training and competition pathways in Goalball. We strive to identify and nurture talent, facilitating their journey from grassroots engagement to national and international competition.

We are dedicated to connecting with corporate and the community to address the challenges faced by athletes with visual impairments, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities necessary for success in sports.

With expertise spanning athlete development, strategic partnerships, governance, grassroots outreach, and organizational growth, we are committed to building a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem for the sport.

Guided by a strong foundation of leadership and lived experience in disability sports, we work to create opportunities for athletes to learn, compete, and excel at every level. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on empowering players, strengthening communities, and establishing Karnataka as a leading destination for Goalball development in India.
